Elise’s winning image at Life Framers ‘THE HUMAN BODY’.

“Elise’s composition seems effortlessly elegant – a flawless landscape of rolling female forms, like sand dunes. It’s both subtle and sensual, captured in muted grey and soft candy pink – It’s compelling in its simplicity.” Life Framer.

Rob Lawson was awarded a bronze medal at the One Eyeland awards for this series exploring the tiny world inside mixers.

Rob designed the series to intrigue and emphasise the craft of making a ‘proper’ cocktail. The series was also awarded a winner at the 2017 AOP awards.

Beate Sonnenberg & Guy Farrow are victorious at the 11th International Color Awards!

Beate was nominated for work in her series “CityScapes” – Beate creates mini skyscrapers using blocks and then casts projections across the set. These projections were then lit from behind to denote the passing of day with elongated and nonexistent shadow forms.

Guy’s photograph of John Cleese in deep thought, presents the audience with a serious, concerned and almost frightened figure for whom is commonly known for his humor, joy and eccentric behavior. The juxtaposition in itself is a feat on its own. It received an honorable mention. Guy’s work for Bombardier and Remington were also among those nominated.

Erik Almas’s “The Crash” (Image 1) is a personal project about a break-up.   Shot in two parts: on location and the studio.

Marco walker won with his Zap/ Snap series (Images 2-7).   Drawing inspiration from the pop Art movement, with a merger of mass produced imagery to deliver new narratives.   This series formed the core of Marco’s 2nd solo exhibition held at the ICA October 2015.
